The A50 claims to output 1-2 watts more than the A10. The A50 while not louder than then the A10 does have a much fuller sound. I'm guessing it has to do with the A50's larger transformers than the tubes.

Here's the PS of the A50 MKIII, which I didn't post earlier because the discussion was about the input circuit. As you can see it uses two 33uf 400v caps.

My 2 cents Edit, this thread is puzzling to me. The A10 I have was half price of this model. Not my experience at all, after tube rolling away from stock Chinese tubes.
