For gypsy jazz, I find myself tuning down to D, in order to achieve the string bends of gypsy jazz. WebOct 16, 2009 · I just got a Saga Cigano GJ-10 from this site (shipped to Argentina). I compared it back to back with the Gitane models and to my ears (been playing guitar for more than 20 years now) the Cigano is far better (and cheaper). Great, GREAT entry level- intermediate guitar. Good construction (even if it is a no-frills model), sound and playability.
