WebOkay, so this is how I'd go about it. Firstly, overclock your CPU slightly. This will allow you to get more fps, and therefore your average fps will be higher. Secondly, put fps_max 59 (or whatever your screen refresh rate is - 1) into your autoexec. You should now be getting a stable fps at whatever your fps_max is.
