Starting the front axle ring and pinion this weekend. The budget does not allow an ARB and stronger shafts for Dana 30. Is it worth $500 to put in a TrueTrac limited slip and keep the stock shafts.
WebJun 6, 2014 · The Hi9 is a true purpose built 9" with a high pinion. Even Currie says not to use there diff in heavy or high powered rigs. It was made for little CJ5s. I have had 4.88, 5.13, and 5.38 gears break in axles from all 3 manufacturers.
