He then laughed at me and told me to move my money to another bank. Discover does not need customers like me. He then hung up on me, so no CLI for me to say the least. If it doesnt bring you what you need, and im assuming you want high limit cards for padding based off your other limits, maybe close it and look for a lender who will give periodic cli on a more predictable schedule. WebJun 11, 2024 · So here is my $.0.02's worth.. I think having a 2nd card is a great idea. It was not until I found myFICO forums, that I learned you could have (2) Discover cards. Getting a second card you get " CA$H back match " for another year! I do not combine my (2) cards into (1) .. because some Quarters, I can max (2) cards for that quarter.

If you are looking for a pre-approval, you'll probably have to get closer to 700 particularly on Experian. Waiting until I get close to 700 makes more sense.
