My Amana cooktop ignitor is very sensitive to the location of the burner cap plate, for example. If it is not precisely centered, the module will keep on sparking even though the flame is lit. If only one of the burner knobs fails to initiate sparking when you turn that knob on, then the burner switch or wiring for that burner likely failed.
