Thomas was a huge part of my childhood, and I had a huge collection of VHS tapes and toys. And I still have most of them today. And in 2000, a movie based on the show called "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" was released. WebNot even Mr Conductor (Alec Baldwin), the man with the magic dust, seems to be able to help. But when Thomas discovers the the magic railroad, the line which connects the human world with the world of the talking trains, and when a young girl named Lily (Mara Wilson) resolves to help, it seems there might be hope after all. Even the magical Mr. Conductor, who has always traveled between the train world and the human world of Shining Time Station, is losing his powers and sparkle. Diesel 10 menacingly approaches Junior and the steam engine he's on (in a scene that's bathed in red and thus dangerous looking lighting).
